ALBION - The junior varsity football team traveled to Central Noble for a non-conference game. Several LaVille players contributed to a 44-6 victory over the Cougars Saturday morning. Lawrence Wood scored four touchdowns, including a 64-yard jaunt to spark the offense. Also making an impact were Peyton Cline with a 15-yard TD reception and a 2-point conversion. Lucas Underwood and Colten Schwitz each scored on 2-point conversions. Quarterback Griffen Smith ran for a 12-yard score and had the touchdown pass to Cline. Defensively, Kaleb Arnold grabbed an interception, while Spencer Schutz caused a fumble for LaVille. LaVille improves to 2-0 overall and will travel to Bremen on September 15 for a 6pm start.
