LAKEVILLE - The LaVille boys soccer team opened the 2026 high school season Thursday against Westville. LHS opened the scoring with a pair of goals in the first 16 minutes of play. Lucas Maenhout on an assist by Clark Rowe, and Gavin Johnson from Maenhout and the Lancers never looked back. Keeper Kyler Christy and LaVille defense worked well together to record the shutout and allow just two shots. Coach Keith Norman's club is now 1-0 on the season and will return to the pitch on August 25 at Rochester. The match is scheduled for a 5:30pm start.
