NAPPANEE - The junior high football team opened the season with a pair of games at NorthWood Middle School Tuesday. The seventh grade hung tough in a 22-13 setback, while Jayden Branch hustled 70 yards for the LaVille score in the eighth grade contest. The junior Lancers return to the field on August 25 against Triton. The first game is scheduled for a 5:00 PM start at Lancer Field.
