The Lady Lancers hosted the Indiana Northern State Conference on Tuesday. Bremen won the crown after a long night of trading blows with Jimton in a fight for the number one spot, the Lancers finished fourth overall. Sarah Tharp was the lone INSC Champion, winning the long jump, however it was Freshman Hurdler, Madison Mishler that led the team in scoring with two second place finishes, and joining tharp on both the 400M & 1600M Relays. Field events were a bright spot for the Lancers, vertical jumper, Reagan Strang, chipped in points from each of her events as did Junior Thrower, Dennie Markin. Relays, made up by nearly everyone else on the Lancer’s roster, finished mid pack contributing points to the cause. LaVille will travel to Mishawaka on Tuesday, as the state tournament gets underway.
