PLYMOUTH - After a tight finish between LaVille and John Glenn at the Marshall County Invitational Saturday, one would think the regular season meeting could be much the same. The Lancers and Falcons squared off Tuesday at Swan Lake for Indiana Northern State Conference bragging rights. As the match rolled hole by hole, the reaction reading body gestures and facial expressions from all golfers proved there was a little more on the line. When the dust settled, John Glenn squeaked past LaVille by seven strokes - 198 to 205. The final total came down to a solid round from the Falcons number five golfer. Junior Adam Aschenbrenner was low-man for LaVille and medalist with seven-over 43.  Lucas Kreske carded a 45 for LHS, while Micah Fleck was low-man for John Glenn with a 47. LHS will have a busy week ahead, starting with a non-conference match against Culver Community on May 18, followed by Rochester on May 19, and a triangular match with Bremen and Oregon-Davis on May 20.  Coach Scot Shearer's crew will also participate in the INSC Championships at Pretty Lake on May 23 beginning at 1:30pm.
