GOSHEN - The LaVille golf team got the season started with a conference match against Jimtown. Freshman Lucas Kreske carded a two-over-par 38 to earn medalist honors for the Lancers at Black Squirrel Golf Club. Other LHS scores include Adam Aschenbrenner 48, Liam Stough 59, and Caden Christy 66. Jimtown was led by Jack Kite 42, Luke Thilman 44, Leighton Gingerich 45, and Carson Gingerich 46. The Jimmies won the team competition, 177-211. LaVille will return to action on April 23 against Tippecanoe Valley and LaLumiere. Match time is 5:30pm at Swan Lake. Note: *LaVille's Lucas Kreske is a freshman, earning medalist honors with a 2-over 38 on a rain soaked Black Squirrel course Wednesday. It was his first varsity match of his career.
