The 7th grade girls basketball team capped off an outstanding season by winning the Indiana Northern State Conference Tournament Championship. After finishing a perfect 4–0 in conference play, the Lancers carried that momentum into the tournament with an impressive opening-round victory over Urey Middle School, 36–7. "In the championship game against Bremen, the girls came out on top with a 31–22 victory over a talented team," said LaVille Coach Aaron Weber. "Their relentless defense set the tone, creating key stops and limiting scoring opportunities throughout the game. Ball control and timely free throw shooting proved crucial down the stretch, allowing them to protect their lead and close out the win. When the pressure was highest, the team stayed composed and executed to secure the conference title. "Their commitment to defense, teamwork, and smart basketball defined their season and ultimately led them to a well-earned championship.” The seventh grade team finished the season 14-3 overall.
