LAKEVILLE - It's GAMEDAY in Lakeville, Indiana! LaVille returns to the hardwood on Tuesday, February 17, as Trinity Academy comes to town. Trinity, formerly known as Trinity School at Greenlawn, is 5-11 overall.  The Titans are coming off a 58-34 loss to Triton on February 10. We had the chance to ask LaVille Coach Michael Edison a little about Tuesday's opposition. "Trinity is very scrappy and has players that play extremely hard," said the 18th-year Lancer skipper. " In the past they have always zoned the entire game, but this year they have a new coach and they rarely zone.  They will pick us up full court with some pressure, but mainly play a man-to-man defense." According to Edison, senior Ian Abbott appears to be their best player.  Abbott, a forward, averaged 11.2 points per game, 3.0 steals, and 2.2 assists a year ago.  Also back are Nate Palmer averaged 8.6 ppg last season and Max Busk added 5.8 ppg and 5.1 rebounds.  As we wind down the final few games of the regular season, there are always keys to a Lancer victory. "We really need to focus on getting high percentage shots," said Edison. "Taking care of the ball, and keeping Trinity from penetrating into the lane." LaVille will also recognize its seniors and parents following the junior varsity game and immediately prior to the varsity game.   The Class of 2026 includes Braedyn Foster, Andre Gonzales, Aaron Keb, and Ryan Maenhout. "With this being senior night I would really like for our seniors to have a good showing for their friends and family," concluded Edison. Game on ...
