LAKEVILLE - LaVille's busy week continued Thursday in a home game against 3A #14 Culver Academy. The two teams battled until a 14-0 run by the Eagles put coach Bill Murchie's club up 27-13 at halftime, before securing a 60-38 victory at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium. LHS turnovers turned into transition buckets for Culver Academy as the Eagles pulled away for its 12th victory of the season. Coach Nicholas Amor's club was led in scoring by Faith Mejer with 15 points and 7 rebounds, while Madi Singleton added a career high 12 points and four steals. Amor's crew will close a three-game homestand on Saturday December 20 against North Miami.  The junior varsity game is scheduled for a 6pm start, with the varsity game to follow.
