LAKEVILLE - LaVille Lady Hoops are set to start a three-game homestand to close out the 2025 portion of the schedule. GAMEDAY welcomes South Bend Riley for the non-conference meeting at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium December 17.   LaVille leads the recent series, 9-8, including winning six of the last 10 encounters.  The Wildcats nipped the Lancers, 42-37, last season. Coach Karl Columbus' team is 4-6 overall following a 73-38 victory over South Bend Washington.  RHS is led by Tinayja Summer at nearly 10 points per game and 4.1 steals.  Lafaye Gibson hauls in 8.7 rebounds per outing, while Aneesah Kenny dishes out 2.4 assists. LHS is now 3-7 overall after a 51-32 loss to Kalamazoo Central at the Michiana Hoops Shootout December 13.  Faith Mejer led the Lancers with 21 points, including four 3-point field goals. Mejer currently leads coach Nicholas Amor's club in points, steals, and blocked shots.  Denni Markin tops the Lancers in rebounds and assists. The Wildcats average 38.0 points per game and allow 51.4 points.  Riley is 3-2 when scoring 38 points or more. Coach Amor's crew averages 34.9 points per game, while allowing 43.1 per contest.  LaVille is 3-4 when scoring 35 points or more.
