LaVille wrestling had two events on Wednesday - the guys were at home against Triton, while the gals were on the road at John Glenn opposite Kankakee Valley. In the boys meet at LaVille, Lawrence Wood, Austin Wright, and Nathan Jones each won by fall, but it wasn't enough in a 40-24 loss to the Trojans. On the girls side, the Lancers picked up five of six wins in a 24-6 victory over the Kougars. Alyvia Wickizer, Maddie Adkins, Bella Thornton, Myleigh Tolbert, and Ava Nelson each picked up victories.  With the win, Tolbert improved to 9-1 overall to lead the Lancers.
